Mini-Gatherings / Working Bees

Keep the Convergence spirit going during the year!

Mini-Gatherings happen several times during the year and are an excellent way to socialise, meet up with other Convergence people again, prepare for the next Convergence, get a bit of site maintenance work done, and keep the ticket price down. There'll be something for everyone, not just those who want to wield a chainsaw. It's volunteer lead, co-created — shaped by the people who are present.

More details will be available closer to each one in the newsletter, which we aim to publish about 2 weeks before each gathering. Don't forget to send in your items for it.

Dates for 2023

The start is on Friday afternoon (unless noted), finish Sunday afternoon.

We share lunches and dinners, bring food to prepare and share, and your own breakfasts. Beds are now available in the lodges, bring your own bedding, sleeping bag, etc.

Fri 1 – Sun 3 December (site preparation)
This is the traditional preparation of the site for Convergence.

For site prep we need to mow the lawns, get the water filter system going, and generally make sure everything is good to go.
